Luxury brands fill London let Luxury brands have almost filled Westfield London's scheme ready for its opening on October 30th, it has been reported.

Prada, Gucci and Christian Dior have taken space in a luxury 'village' development it co-owns with German fund Commerz Real.
'We are particularly pleased with the excellent take-up of space given the more difficult leasing environment," said Michael Gutman, Westfield's managing director, UK and Europe.

"Being 96 per cent leased ten weeks out from opening to an excellent line-up of British and international brands is a great achievement by our team."

A total of 13 luxury retailers have taken space and brands are already working on their fit-outs.

Other top-end retailers signed up to the scheme include De Beers, Mont Blanc, Louis Vuitton and Tiffany & Co.

Commercial property portfolios are often made up of mixed assets, which include retail outlets and city offices.
