A new business property in Trencherfield Mill in Wigan is being targeted at investors looking for office space on the banks of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
After redevelopment, which has seen 57,595 sq ft of office space made available, along with commercial units and some residential quarters, developer Stewart Milne says it will prove a popular site.
A range of businesses are expected to fill the offices and Malcolm Deans, managing director, was bullish about the message it sent out about the region and its industries.
"Wigan’s economy no longer relies on the traditional industries of the past and this vibrant town is developing a heartbeat of forward-thinking businesses.
"The commercial units at Trencherfield Mill are designed to a high specification to suit tenants looking for first-class facilities for their employees."
Mr Deans was appointed as managing director of Stewart Milne’s commercial property arm earlier this year, taking over in September.
