Pinewood Shepperton has announced details of an agreement with Technicolor which will see it relocate its UK headquarters and operations to Pinewood Studios.
Technicolor is one of the leading forces within the film industry, providing creative and processing services to a number of partners.
Now the firm is set to up sticks and move its offices as part of its "master planning initiatives", with Pinewood Shepperton describing the move as an "encouraging early result" of the recently-launched marketing campaign for pre-lets at the studios.
"We will continue to actively pursue prospective media tenants who recognise the significant benefit in relocating to the Pinewood and Shepperton media clusters," the group said in a statement.
The deal will see a purpose-built location of 42,000 sq ft for Technicolor, with work scheduled to begin on the offices and other buildings shortly, and completion slated for autumn 2008.
Ivan Dunleavy, chief executive of Pinewood Shepperton, said the move underlined "the attractiveness of our studio sites as clusters for the creative industries for the future".
Pinewood Studios is famed as the home of the James Bond franchise, among the most successful in film history.
