Looking back to my earlier concerns about engaging DeVono in our property search, I can say that on all counts you completely exceeded expectations in the end.

Originally, I wasn't convinced you would be completely on top of available property in the area, but as far as I can tell you knew about everything relevant on the market (and often before it came available); in any case, you found us something suitable. Ultimately, our final choice of property is the only one that matters...

Even if I understood how you could add value at the search stage, you may remember that I didn't believe you could add significant value during negotiations. At least with the property that we selected in the end, I can be absolutely confident that we would not have understood how to negotiate a lease that worked so well for both tenant and landlord.

We would not have had the confidence or understanding to low-ball significantly to secure such a low rent; and on the other hand if we had still moved forward with a higher rent then we would have had higher expectations about things that the landlord needed to change or update. For example, there's an historical stain from a leak on the wall which in the context of the deal we reached isn't a problem - at our budget we are happy to paint it ourselves if it meant the deal could be completed quickly and cheaply. At a higher rent we would have wanted things like that sorted, which would have delayed things, and potentially caused the landlord to believe that the deal was no longer worth their time.

And then in the final act, DeVono effectively secured a 10% reduction in all costs by measuring the space at 90% of the advertised area! As far as we're concerned it's still the same space as we (visually) saw we were getting all along, so this is seen by us as a reduction in costs but not really space.

So, we have a big job ahead of us before we can move in - and some tight timescales to meet our own targets, but right now we are extremely pleased with the outcome that DeVono helped deliver. And even just on cost alone, the price tag for your service is clearly less than the savings we have made.

We asked DeVono's Relocation Management team to assist with our London office relocation.

They provided a comprehensive one stop service introducing and managing the supply chain and coordinating with the landlord of the new office and subsequently alleviating us of the day to day pressures of running a project.

The scope of the project evolved naturally and DeVono's team adapted to the requirments and we moved in on time and to a budget we were happy with.
