SSAFA buys EC3 office

Charity and support group SSAFA Forces Help has purchased 4 St Dunstan's Hill, EC3.

The company, which supports those who serve in the armed forces, paid £6.5m for the 27,000 sq ft property.
DeVono advised SSAFA. Knight Frank represented the vendor Windsor Life Assurance Company, acting on behalf of Aberdeen Asset Management.

Soros' charity moves to Millbank Tower

A trio of tenants have signed at the Reuben brothers' Millbank Tower, SW1.
 
George Soros' Open Society Foundation has taken 19,000 sq ft on floors seven, eight and part of nine. The firm paid £35 per sq ft for a lease until March 2026, with breaks in 2019 and 2022.
 
In addition, two other firms collectively took 11,000 sq ft at the building.
 
Elsewhere, Wedding TV has signed for 1,880 sq ft on the third floor of Langham Estates' 16-17 Little Portland Street site, W1, for £26 per sq ft on a five-year lease.
 
The History Channel's parent company, A&E Television Networks, has signed a five-year lease on 2,454 sq ft at Berkeley Square Holdings' Berkeley Square House, W1.
 
DeVono advised the Open Society Foundation, Wedding TV and AETN International.
 
Drivers Jonas Deloitte and Jones Lang LaSalle acted for Millbank's landlord; Langham Estates was not represented; Lancer Property Asset Management acted on behalf of Berkeley Square Holdings.
