A poll of estate agents has revealed which of London’s views they would most like to see from their own windows.
The London Eye, Albert Bridge (at night), the Gherkin, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and Hyde Park all topped a survey conducted by the Telegraph.
Less obvious choices included Greenwich Naval Museum, the Cutty Sark and Lord’s and The Oval cricket grounds.
Interestingly, some of the top landmarks also appeared on the agents’ lists of what they would rather not see.
The Elephant & Castle roundabout and Piccadilly Circus were bottom of a pile whose "ugly list" included Centre Point, the British Library and the Hogarth Roundabout.

With residential properties, buyers have long been advised to consider three things: location, location, location.
