Leading global oil services company Aker Solutions has announced the acquisition of office space in London.
Situated at the Chiswick Business Park, the company has said that the 25,000 sq ft space will act as a support base for development projects worldwide.
The office features five meeting rooms – all with access to the latest in communication technology – and three breakout areas, which are designed to generate a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The space also features a main boardroom and an open plan office.
Aker Solutions’ open plan office incorporates a number of innovative features – each desk is height adjustable that can be operated via an electronic switch.
Operations director for Aker Solutions, Mike Smith, commented on the company’s latest office.
He said: “The design helps the office to flow efficiently and is easy to maintain, it is also future-proof to allow for expansion.
“It can accommodate 175 people with an additional six meeting rooms capable of holding 60 people seated. Aker Solutions expects to create 500 new UK jobs by the end of 2015 and further continue its growth,” Mr Smith continued.
