Sir Alan Sugar, entrepreneur and star of reality television show The Apprentice, has been giving tips on how to be a success in the commercial property business.
Speaking at an event to promote the launch of his offices in London that are available to rent, Sir Alan took questions from an audience of 150 West End lettings agents to discuss the property industry and his views on the current economic climate.
The former chairman of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club also took time out to discuss his time in the football business, while providing some insights into the current climate in the commercial property industry.
Hosted by Property Week editor Giles Barrie, the event showcased new offices in London a 33,500 square foot development by the property tycoon’s Amsprop company.
Last month, Sir Alan called on the public to help the UK economy during the current recession. Launching a campaign in conjunction with the Daily Mirror, Sir Alan said the best way to help small and medium-sized businesses through tough economic times would be to buy their products rather than choosing foreign goods.
