Banijay, a media firm based in France, has announced that it will relocate its sales office to London office space.
The firm’s sales offices were previously located in its native France, as well as in Denmark, however, Banijay see London as a key location. As a result, half-a-dozen members of staff are also expected to make the move, whilst new appointments are also being anticipated.
In the past couple of years Banijay has experienced a significant amount of success, selling shows to various regions across the world.
Karoline Spodsberg, Banijay’s managing director, commented on the decision to relocate the sales team to London.
She said: “London is an epicentre for the formats industry and as a major distribution player we wanted to have a physical presence in this key market.
“By centralising the full team in London we will be able to optimise all the synergies within our team and at the same time make sure we deliver top quality to all our partners.”
