Law firm BLM has announced its plans to move to a new London office space on Fenchurch Street.
The move will involve BLM consolidating its two current London offices in Lloyds building and London Wall.
BLM will share its open plan Fenchurch office with other insurance firms Munich Re and QBE.
The firm has confirmed that it expects the move to happen in early 2015 and that it will not involve any cuts in its current workforce.
It currently employs 1,500 staff and has 170 partners.
BLM senior partner, Mike Brown, said he thought it was important that the firm was at the centre of London’s insurance community, with a flagship office in the UK capital.
He added: “We believe this move will cement our position at the centre of the world’s insurance industry and provide us with an excellent platform for national and international growth.”
The flagship office will be headed up by Jennette Newman.
Established in May 2014, the law firm is a merger of former firms Barrymans Lace Mawer and HBM Sayers.
BLM plans to provide a more efficient service to the insurance market.
The firm currently has offices in several locations across the UK and Ireland, including Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
