Capita Symonds’ Real Estate division are set to relocate to offices at 125 Shaftesbury Avenue following the lease expiration at their current Mayfair office space.
Located in the West End, the real estate division will occupy the building’s fourth floor – which measures 19,300 sq ft. As part of the agreement, Capita Symonds will let the floor until 2014 at a rate of £37 per sq ft.
The move forms part of a bigger company plan to locate all arms of the business in one building by 2014.
Director of markets for Capita Symonds, Alan Dornford, stated: “This is a significant event for Capita Symonds Real Estate as it is the first piece in the puzzle in joining together Capita Symonds’ London operations in one central location in 2014.
“We are taking a flexible view on location – anywhere in Central London is currently being considered – and it can be a newly developed property or existing building earmarked for refurbishment. It is critical that Capita Symonds new London HQ can facilitate new ways of working and reflect our credentials as an employers of choice within the industry,” he added.
