MarketSight will use Covent Garden office space as its new European base for future developments across the UK and Europe.
The office will be the company’s, which specialises in creating web analysis and reporting platforms, first outside of the US. With the opening of the office, MarkSight aims to be able to make local sales and provide support to its clients across Europe.
MarketSight CEO, Michael DeNitto, suggested that since the company was founded in 2006, its European business had steadily grown to the point where it needed a local presence ‘to truly serve’ clients on the continent to a high quality standard.
Mr DeNitto said, “London made the most sense for us as a first step in expanding our global presence, given the common language and the high concentration of market researchers in this very vibrant market.
“Opening this office is the first of many steps to also serve continental European countries with a physical presence and local language support.”
The company, which uses a 100 per cent web-based solution, has developed software which allows its users to carry out statistical tests and create charts, as well as many other data analyses, such as sharing results all in an interactive environment.
Heading this new Covent Garden office will be Sebastian Wargacki, relocating from MarketSight’s headquarters in Massachusetts – he will take sole of charge of the office.
Mr Wargacki, who is client service director for the firm in Europe, said he was thrilled to be at the helm of such a significant opportunity for the company.
He said: “I look forward to working more closely with the market research community in London and throughout Europe to serve their needs and grow the MarketSight business throughout Europe.”
