Our clients, a global financial software and services company, initial intention was to remain in their existing premises in Dominion Street.
After a careful and detailed study of their requirements by DeVono Cresa, including their growth plans and staff ethos, it was felt that whilst discussions should be opened with the existing landlord, they should also consider the alternative of moving to another premises.
It was felt that the City was still the right location for them as an organisation, so as well as opening up discussions with their existing landlord, DeVono Cresa also sourced other options in the area.
DeVono Cresa conducted various viewing tours with the client and established three potential properties as suitable alternatives.
A detailed cost comparison between all options was conducted and when factoring in growth plans, it was decided that a landmark, newly developed, property close to St. Pauls Cathedral on New Change, EC4 was the most suitable and financially viable option.
DeVono Cresa negotiated with the landlord for a 9,000 square feet office unit and secured competitive leasing terms for this iconic City of London property.
DeVono Cresa then proceeded with advising the client alongside their solicitor throughout the conveyancing process, which included weekly project team conference calls to discuss outstanding items and to make sure the project remained within the planned timescales.
After successfully completing the legal documentation, the client was handed over to DeVono Cresa’s Project management team.
