Foreign Office helps college move

Ravensbourne College is moving to London and into new buildings designed by Foreign Office Architects.

The college will move to Peninsula Square, London’s newest public square. It will be located near The O2 and form part of Greenwich Peninsula’s 3.5m sq ft commercial district of business property and commercial lettings.

The site in Greenwich will give future students new state-of-the-art facilities and the opportunity to collaborate with nearby institutions.

Rob Johnson, joint project director, said the college was renowned for "the quality and excellence of its courses" and he hoped it would bring "great creative energy to the area".

The Greenwich Peninsula is a new business district of offices in London, only minutes from the new offices in Canary Warf.

"It’s the best of all possible worlds for businesses looking to be part of something new and different," its developers have claimed.
