Property developer Great Portland Estates has confirmed it has leased out the London office space available at Skylight in its entirety to Porta Communications.
The holding company for an international communications and marketing business will lease 25,000 sq ft of office space at City Tower, Basinghall Street.
With a deal between PH Media and the central London investment and development firm struck last October, a total of one-third of the London office space available at City Tower has now been leased.
The 19-storey tower building, which was recently refurbished and is located in the City of London, is owned jointly between GPE and Starwood Capital.
Toby Courtauld, chief executive of GPE, said “We are delighted to welcome Porta Communications and PH Media to City Tower.
“Our refurbishment has completely transformed the building to create light and efficient space and we are confident that the remaining space will let well.
“We are also pleased to have finished 2013 with strong leasing across the portfolio, ahead of ERV, and we expect to continue this positive momentum during 2014.”
As of September 30 2013, GPE, currently has a portfolio value of £2.5bn with a large portion of the portfolio located in the West End, Southwark and north of Oxford Street.
