City law firm Harcus Sinclair has pre-let Lincoln’s Inn Fields in Camden on a new ten-year lease, Property Mall has reported.
The firm will pay rent of up to £48.50 per sq foot of office space and move to the largest public square in the capital.
Alasdair Gurry of Strutt & Parker, who advised the deal, said: “Standard Life’s ability to deliver a comprehensive refurbishment within a tight timescale, combined with the fantastic location close to the Law Courts has enabled us to secure a pre-let of the entire building.”
Harcus Sinclair will move into the building – which originates from the Georgian period – once the refurbishment has taken place.
By choosing to overhaul the historic property Standard Life has been rewarded with “an excellent tenant in what is a difficult market”, Mr Gurry told Property Mall.
Served by Holborn and Chancery Lane underground stations, buildings in the area are examples of the diverse style of commercial property found in the capital.
