International construction services firm ISG has been appointed by Standard Life to refurbish its offices in London.
Located at 23 King Street, the office will receive a comprehensive refurbishment. ISG will install new flooring and suspended ceilings, whilst the building’s existing mechanical and electrical services will also receive an upgrade – to bring the building up to a BRE Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) rating of very good.
The refurbishment will also see an additional 44,255 sq ft of office space created at the building.
Managing director of ISG, Stuart Deverill, stated: “Our latest scheme for Standard Life Investments highlights the resilience and demand for high quality commercial accommodation in the West End.
“Comprising significant structural alterations to the existing property, the project at 23 King Street highlights ISG’s strong credentials in the delivery of complex, logistically challenging office projects,” he added.
ISG will also install three new lifts, as well as a toilet core. The refurbishment project is scheduled for completion by next summer (2013).
