Luxury British fashion house, Jimmy Choo, has agreed a deal with Land Securities that will see them take up the London office space being created at 123 Victoria Street.
A redevelopment project, 123 Victoria Street, Â has a completion date scheduled for June; composed of 200,000 sq ft of office space, the development is expected to be one of few West End office schemes to go on the market during 2012.
Jimmy Choo will take up 37,000 sq ft of office space at the property – once finished. The office will form part of the shoemaker’s new headquarters – replacing the current location in Kensington.
Rich in high-end fashion houses, Victoria is currently occupied by a number of illustrious brands, including Â Tom Ford, LVMH, Burberry and Richemont.
Commenting on the deal, Robert Noel, managing director of Land Securities’ London portfolio, said: “Victoria is changing. We have a ten-year vision for this part of the West End, which will see the creation of vibrant new retail, residential and public space. We are delighted to welcome Jimmy Choo as yet another global brand to Victoria.”
