Land Securities has received planning permission for the redevelopment of a mixed-use development scheme.
The plans will go ahead at 30 Old Bailey and 60 Ludgate Hill in the city of London.
Two new buildings will replace the existing 1960s building. The buildings will house offices, new restaurant and retail facilities, upgraded pedestrian connections as well as new public spaces, in a multi use venture.
Designed by German architects Sauerbruch Hutton, the Old Bailey scheme will provide an office area spanning 195,000 square feet and encompassing nine floors. These floors will offer stunning views of the city.
Other attractive features include two open terraces on the ninth level which allows views over the Old Bailey and to St Paul’s Cathedral. There will also be a prominent entrance on Old Bailey and a restaurant facing the piazzetta at ground floor.Share:
