Law firm, Latham & Watkins LLP, has agreed a deal with Hammerson for additional London office space, whilst also renewing their lease at 99 Bishopsgate.
The deal will see Latham & Watkins LLP take over Â 23,600 sq ft of office space located on the ground and 21st floors; the existing lease for 101,080 sq ft – spread out over ten floors – has been extended until 2021.
The company originally made the move to 99 Bishopsgate in 1999 – taking up three floors measuring a total of 30,000 sq ft.
Latham & Watkins’ London office managing partner, Nick Cline, commented on the lease renewal and the deal for additional office space.
He said: “Our decision to acquire more office space at 99 Bishopsgate is indicative of the importance the firm places on the London office, the growth of the office to meet the needs of our clients and our plans to continue this expansion in to the future.”
