LBQ Limited’s London office development topped out

LBQ Limited , a partnership between the State of Qatar and Sellar Property Group, has celebrated the topping out of their London office building The Place, according to an article published by Property Magazine International.

Measuring 600,000 sq ft over 17-storeys, the building is part of the London Bridge Quarter regeneration project, which also features The Shard. It has been designed by internationally renowned architect Renzo Piano and is on schedule to be completed by next spring (2013).

Commenting on behalf of LBQ Limited, Irvine Sellar stated: “This is another milestone in our £2 billion development at London Bridge Station, one of the capital’s key transport hubs with more than 50 million passenger movements annually.

“The Place benefits from sharing architectural, design and cultural DNA with The Shard and forms part of London’s most exciting regeneration projects that will see more than 12,000 people working there when it is completed next year,” Mr Sellar added.
