It’s been announced that the London office space, the Leadenhall Building will house a new space for events.
Level 42 of the building, which is also referred to as the ‘Cheesegrater’ and ‘122 Leadenhall’, will be converted into London’s highest dedicated events space this summer. It will be utilised for product launches, parties, conferences and many more events.
At 5,000 sq ft, the events space can host up to 250 seated guests, or 300 standing guests.
Located in the City of London, the 224 metre high space features floor-to-floor ceiling windows that provide picturesque views over the Thames and a number of other major landmarks.
The events space is currently being equipped with the latest sound and LED lighting systems.
The project is a joint venture between the building’s owners and events agency Xcite.
Discussing their plans for the use of the event space, Xcite managing director, Simon Tracey, said: “We aim to be working with corporate buyers and event agencies to deliver an exciting variety of projects that will all benefit from activations in this unique event space.”
Xcite are known for successful events they have delivered in the Leadenhall Building, since it’s opening in September 2014.
