The organisation, whose goal it is to provide medical education to develop processes and improve clinical practices, is currently based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The new London office is based in Hammersmith, and will initially house 15 members of staff. Lucid has revealed that it plans to expand that number to around 30 people during the next three years.
Its opening follows a recent period of both growth and success for the company.
Lucid was named Communique’s Medical Education Consultancy of the Year in 2013, and more recently won important new business.
Managing director at Lucid, Dennis O’Brien, commented on the opening of the Hammersmith office.
He stated: “It’s a really exciting time for Lucid. We wanted to increase our office capacity and London seemed like an obvious second location. The base will mean that we will be more likely to attract new talent, from those keen to work in London.
“The second office reflects the continuing growth of our business as more clients are convinced that our focus on medical education that really makes a difference in advancing patient outcomes makes Lucid the right partner for them,” he added.
