A major Manchester PR firm has opted to move to a new London office in a move to win new business and attract new talent to its ever growing team.
Citypress, a PR, digital and creative agency, has previously operated from a hot desk in the capital for a number of years, but with an ever expanding client base has decided the time is now right for a more permanent office.
The firm is set to move into London office space in the Grid Iron Building at One Pancras Square in the middle of June under the watchful eye of Tom Kirkham. He will initially be joined by five other members of staff.
With major client wins including the Post Office and Coca-Cola Enterprises under the firm’s belt, Kirkham said there would not be a better opportunity to open the new London office.
He said: “With the calibre of wins the agency has had in the past 12-18 months I think there was a sense that the time was right to bolster our presence in London.
“We knew that London would be a priority at some stage in our long-term growth strategy and with the recognition the agency has been getting from these major brands, like Coca-Cola, it was a case of why not strike while the iron is hot?”
The switch to London will also afford the firm the opportunity to work closer with clients such as LLoyds Banking Group, but also boost its own workforce by tapping into the pool of talent available in the capital.
As well as the London office. the firm currently has offices in Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and Edinburgh. It currently employs a team of 60 staff members.
