McHale and Co has opened a London office in Berkeley Square to cater for its growing Russian and Polish client base.
The new office location, Berkeley Square is a popular base for Russian entrepreneurs who are based in London.
Firm partner, Maria Udalova-Survoka from Moscow who has worked in the UK legal sector for 15 years, will head up the London office.
McHale partner, Marta Grzelak will also move part of her client portfolio to the new London office.
The law firm currently provides a range of support services for individuals, businesses and sports people, working primarily with clubs and agents in football.
It has established teams working with both Russian and Polish individuals and businesses.
Commenting on the firm’s move, Grzelak said: “There’s not as big a choice of experienced and appropriately qualified East-West solicitors out there who are able to meet all the language, cultural, commercial and legal standards and requirements as one might perceive.
“We, as professional advisers, speak their language in more ways than one.”
Based in Altrincham, a market town in Greater Manchester, the law firm was established in 2001.
The firm currently employs around 50 members of staff in both London and the north west.
