According to reports in The Telegraph, Premier League leaders Manchester United are moving their commercial offices to London’s Mayfair.
The football club has agreed a deal to occupy 11,500 sq ft of new London office space in the West End after their old unit in Pall Mall couldn’t deal with the growth of the company and its staff. The club set up a base in the capital in a bid to secure more deals with overseas companies as travelling to the capital would prove easier for potential investors.
Since moving to London the English club has boosted commercial revenue from 42.5 million pounds to 80 million, proving that if companies wish to expand and realise the potential of their business, a move to the capital can seriously improve profits.
The Telegraph reveals that United will pay rent of almost £80 per sq ft at the Mayfair office, but the club does not want its actual location disclosed.
