DeVono Cresa have successfully acquired the atrium floor of a Millbank property on behalf of an existing tenant.
The client had originally suggested that they wished to remain within the Millbank building, SW1 but with little available property within the building there seemed to be no other option but to find alternative premises close by.
However, through DeVono Cresa’s agency contacts we were made aware of a larger floor that could potentially be split into two units to allow our client to remain in the property. After much deliberation, and a review of the client’s expansion plans, it was felt that the more suitable option was to take on the whole floor but to try and agree an extended rent free period over the part of the floor which wasn’t needed at day 1.
Through an intensive negotiation period, DeVono Cresa successfully agreed terms and gave the client a good opportunity to future proof their business without the need to move again and incur unnecessary cost.Share:
