Mischon de Reya is set to move out of its existing London office headquarters and relocate into bigger offices in the surrounding area.
The law firm will use the move to consolidate its team of fee-earners under one roof for the first time in ten years.
Mischon will move out of its Red Lion Square headquarters to take up residence in the Grade II listed Africa House. It is expected the firm will take up the entirety of the 120,000 of London office space available at the recently refurbished office at 64-78 Kingsway.
Mishcon director of business development, Elliot Moss, said: “It’s a reflection of the fact that this firm has grown dramatically.
“It’s what you do when you have lots of people.”
The move will allow the firm to bring all its staff, currently spread across four sites around the Holborn area, under one roof.
Part of the reasoning behind the move is down to Mischon launching a new service, Mayfair Private, dedicated to a variety of family services, and also because of the firm’s continuing expansion.
Only last summer the firm outlined its three-year plans with a budget target of £100m.
Mischon are expected to move into the new office in September 2015 and join a number of legal firms such as Fieldfisher and Bird & Bird over the past couple of years to relocate their London offices.
