MLS cuts its serviced office portfolio

Serviced office firm MLS Group has cut back its offices in London and Milton Keynes.

The firm is to retain one semi-serviced office at Redan Place, Bayswater, according to Property Week.

David Plummer, managing director, said the closures were regrettable but taken without causing disruption for its current clients.

Mr Plummer told the magazine: “This restructuring will further improve Group performance and give these clients a higher level of support in these challenging times.”

The serviced office industry allows firms to hire offices in London with just one monthly fee.

This license cost includes rent, facilities management, insurance and utility bills and the offices are already furnished.

MLS Group has an international portfolio, including offices in India, China as well as offices in London.

The group’s latest business centre is in the Grade A commercial property building known as the Shanghai Mart in Shanghai, China.
