Construction firm Morgan Sindall has won a contract to refurbish offices in London, according to an article published by The Construction Index.
Located at Wardour Street, Soho, the building will undergo an extensive refurbishment as part of a joint venture between Legal & General Property (LGP) and Walbrook Land. It will provide 33,000 sq of office space – spread out over the building’s upper five storeys.
When completed, the office space – designed by London-based architects, EPR – will feature new floor plates, a bigger and more prominent reception; it will also receive contemporary fit-out – completed to a high standard.
The existing office space will close whilst the revamp is being carried out; however, the three retail units located on the ground floor will remain unaffected and will continue to trade. Work on the office will begin this month (July) and is expected to be completed by the first quarter of next year (2013).
