Filmmaster Events, the firm behind the organisation of the 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies, has opened a new London office.
With offices already operating in Brazil, Spain, Italy, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, the London branch will act as a strategic unit to support major international projects for the firm. The London office has been a long time coming, with CEO, Antonio Abete, stating that the new branch is a “step forward in the process of internationalisation, which we have been working on, and on which we are developing our business”.
Andrea Francisi, chief operation officer of Filmmaster Events, states that “the branch will hold a strategic role in becoming the bridge between the East and West. Relations with multinational European corporations will be enhanced, and close client relationships easily maintained”. Francisi further adds that “the move will enable the firm to be more prompt, and efficient in answering partner’s demands”.
The new location will reinforce Filmmaster’s role as a worldwide leader, in the events and business industry. Recent large-scale productions include the 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games, and the London flag handover ceremony of 2012.
