Covent Garden saw the official opening last week of an innovative new type of office space. London is hoped to be the just the first in a line of ‘B Hive’ centres planned to open across the country which are designed to give female entrepreneurs much-needed professional facilities in key business locations.
Businesswoman and PR guru Lynne Franks, realised that there was a lack of suitable business facilities for women trying to create or launch their own businesses.
B Hives will provide the ultimate hot-desking experience, providing space for networking, meetings with clients, the usual office amenities such as video and meeting rooms plus a members’ lounge and even an outdoor patio area. The project will also host networking lunches and workshops.
Regus, which sources executive office worldwide, has provided the commercial property in Covent Garden. Whilst aiming to be an “inspirational” space, Regus aim to keep membership costs reasonbable to allow access to a wide variety of women.
