Having undergone a recent redevelopment, the joint residential and commercial property in London located at No 1 Kingsway has now scooped awards at the prestigious UK Property Awards.
The building – designed by architects Sidell Gibson on behalf of UK and European Investments – received a 5 Star Gold award in the category of Best Residential Property Interior London UK, as well a Platinum award in the Best Residential Property Interior UK category.
With a BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) rating of excellent and an A-grade energy performance rating, the newly redeveloped No 1 Kingsway building is composed of 105,000 sq ft of office space, seven apartments and a brasserie.
Located at the heart of Westminster, the building was completely rebuilt – with just the front of the building, constructed from Portland Stone in the 1920s, remaining from the original structure.
No 1 Kingsway also netted Sidell Gibson a commendation at the awards ceremony in the category of Mixed-Use Architecture.
