Octopus complex planned for West London

An office development has been planned for Chiswick roundabout in West London and will feature office space, a public sky garden and advertising space. The architects have lowered the height of the building by 3m and increased the volume of office space from 2,745 to 4,825 square metres; following concerns that animated advertising panels would distract drivers from the busy M4 road nearby.

The Octopus development will now be 49.5m high, and there are environmental issues which have been taken into account with the design. The designs include green walls, a roof garden and extensive landscaping on the ground level, solar shading, CHP, borehole cooling and rainwater harvesting.

  1. I travel all around the world for work, and it used to be really lonely. Now I can go onto Tinder and have a date lined up in a new city before I even get out of the airport!
