Off-market warehouse style building found for a gaming client in EC1


Our client is a social gaming company that offers a wide range of online gaming products.

The initial brief that DeVono Cresa took was to find a new office space in and around the Euston area of central London.

DeVono Cresa advised that the search area needed to be expanded because there is a very short supply of available office space in the Euston area so postcodes such as N1, NW1 and EC1 were also considered for the search.

The aim was to find a location and a building that would be attractive to current and potential staff. Our client also really wanted to find an office space that had a warehouse style as they felt this was more in line with their business image.

A total of 20 buildings were viewed over a five month period.

DeVono Cresa were made aware of an off market opportunity in EC1 on Compton Street which measured just over 6,000 sq ft and within two weeks of viewing the property, we had negotiated all the necessary terms and had placed the office space firmly under offer on behalf of our client.

Within four weeks contracts had completed and our client proceeded with the fitting out of the space to incorporate their interior feel and look.
