Signs of the strength of the London property market in the commercial sector continue to emerge despite the wider economic downturn.
News today that a third floor rear office in Holborn has been let underlined the potential for development in the London office space market.
Commercial agency Merjs confirmed that it had let an office suite at 150 Southampton Row to Energy Market Consultants.
Colin Becker, head of equity for the agency, said the newly refurbished offices showed that good quality office space was still in demand in the capital.
"This particular office property is in an excellent central London location near to Russell Square, thereby providing excellent transport links with Central and Piccadilly Line underground stations close by," he commented.
The office site comes complete with kitchenette facilities, an eight-person passenger lift, as well as air conditioning.
Demand for offices in the capital, where space is at a premium, continues to flourish, with the market experiencing a much less pronounced slowdown than elsewhere in the UK.Share:
