Australian PR company, One Green Bean has opened a London office after winning a pitch for Costa Coffee at the tail end of last year.
The PR agency’s mangaing director, Matt Buchanan, will be making the move to the UK to head up the London headquarters. One Green Bean has also won work for the Whitbread Group.
The award-winning PR agency is partly owned by French company Havas and has now set out to develop a growing global network with offices in strategic countries worldwide.
The group’s CEO, Anthony Freedman, stated: “With the Sydney business in great shape, now felt like the right time to explore the appetite for our offering and expertise internationally, with the support of our shareholders Havas worldwide.”
Managing director, Matt Buchanan will lead the London office with 5 members of staff. He joined One Green Bean in 2012, having worked for Pulse Communications previously.
Buchanan said: “One Green Bean is a truly unique business – in terms of its people, its philosophy and its output. I’m thrilled to be taking our proposition to the UK market.”
This development also sees co-founder, Kat Thomas, take on the role of global ECD, planning to focus on other target markets in the coming months.
