OptionsCity has opened its first international office in the City of London.
This new London office space will provide the company with a platform from which it can continue to deliver its services to its existing clients in Europe, whilst expanding its client base further in the region.
A provider of financial technology, OptionsCity was founded back in 2006, and is responsible for producing trading and marketing making platforms and software, like Freeway and Metro.
CEO of OptionsCity, Hazem Dawani, commented: “We are pleased to launch our first international office and to welcome Darran to our team.
“We have a longstanding interest in the region and the addition of a London office is a logical step in the development of the company as a global technology provider,” Mr Dawani added.
As well as announcing the opening of the new office, the company also revealed that Darran Hodder would join the company as its director of sales in Europe and the United Kingdom, and head up the office.
Mr Hodder said: “OptionsCity has rapidly become a leader in the North American professional trading market, specifically in Interest Rates, Indices, Energy and Commodities.
“The company’s existing technology provides a strong foundation for us to build a successful business in the EU/UK market, and I am excited to help lead the company’s expansion,” he added.
