Orbit Developments has agreed to let commercial property near Heathrow airport to offshore IT provider, Patni Computer Systems.
The deal will see the firm move into 13,395 sq feet in the Bath Road building, Strata House, Property Week has reported.
Patni, recently awarded the 2008 Marketing excellence award by the Global Marketing Leadership Organization ITSMA, will use the move to set up its new European Headquarters.
Its executive vice president with responsibility for Europe, Brian Stones said: “We are experiencing major growth in the UK and our move to Strata House will give us the perfect platform to take us to the next stage of our growth.”
Previously located in Houslow, Patni will now be nearer the international terminals at Heathrow, which are so vital for business customers.
The deal between the IT firm and Orbit Southern, a branch of Orbit Developments, is for a ten year lease at £20 per sq feet.
Heathrow has recently opened Terminal 5 and expanded its business traffic to the world.
