Philip Sandzers view on the growth of Londons Retail and Leisure market

So where is there potential for landlords to develop and invest and subsequently open up new retail and leisure areas in the West End of London?

Anywhere south of Oxford Street in Mayfair and St James’s is impossible.

I think Soho has potential, to the east of the Shaftesbury Estate taking in the Wardour Street, Frith Street and Greek Street areas.

I would like to see more critical mass of upcoming apparel and accessory retailers, the new designers finding a home where rents are sensible and we get back to individuality.
