A huge £8 billion redevelopment of Earls Court could create new homes, leisure facilities and London office space.
Bloomberg reports that Capital & Countries Properties – the firm formed after the dissolution of Liberties International – wants to redevelop the area.
The plans involve the Earls Court and West Kensington Development Area, which features the Earls Court exhibition centre.
If approved, the project could create 12,000 jobs and more than 7,500 homes.
Gary Yardley, director of EC Properties, said: “Our planning application follows two years of consultation and we are proud to submit a master plan which has been shaped by the community.”
