New York law firm Proskauer Rose will soon double its office space in London, moving from Bishops Square to Heron Tower.
The move is set to take place in the coming new year and will total 18,000 square ft in the Bishopsgate tower.
The team at Proskauer has recently grown, now having 15 partners based in London. Recent additions to the team are Robert Gaut from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. He will be overseeing the the tax practice branch of the company.
Meanwhile, Steve Davies, from King & Wood Mallesons will be joining the company this December. Last year, Davies led the corporate team from SJ Berwin’s into its $1 billion merger.
Proskauer Rose currently has 36 lawyers in London and has recently promoted several other specialists such as Max Kirchner and Faisal Ramzan. Looking to expand further in the new year, the firm’s new London office space will house around 100 employees.
Revenue within the company has increased by 4% and profits per equity partner has seen an increase of 5%, in the last financial year. The London branch of the company recently worked alongside Osborne Clarke on Spanish plasma therapy company Grifol’s purchase of Novartis’ transfusion diagnostics unit.
