PRUPIM’s Mayfair office scheme granted planning permission

Real estate investment firm, PRUPIM, has received a massive boost with the announcement that it has been granted planning permission to begin construction on Mayfair office space.

Set to be located at 30 Berkeley Square, the scheme is set to provide 52,000 sq ft of office space – completed to a grade A standard. Designed by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson, a spot at the building is expected to become one of the most sought after business addresses on the planet.

The building is set to be completed by summer next year (2013).

Director of development at PRUPIM, David Morris, commented on the scheme.

He said: “Extensive re-modelling of the building and the new designs by Aukett Fitzroy Robinson will yield two stunning new penthouse floors and terraces that will provide unrivalled outlooks over Berkeley Square.

“The scheme will also deliver a range of sustainability improvements which will ensure that it continues to provide a benchmark for prime-plus quality in the Mayfair office market,” he  concluded.
