In the latest deal on the the Rex building at 62 Queen Street EC4, UBS Triton have let the remaining 62,300 square feet of the new build office space to independent fund manager, Gartmore.
Gartmore have signed an agreement to take the property for 15 years at a cost of £2.53 million per year, without break options. Rent on the London office space will rise to at least £2.86 million after a review in year five of the lease; however, there will be a three-year rent-free period.
The prestigious office development comprises 75,000 square feet of new space, over seven floors. It has good transport links, being located only a few minutes walk from Bank and Canon Street underground stations. Jeff Meyer, Gartmore’s CEO, said, ‘This is an attractive deal for Gartmore and an exciting move that will provide an excellent working environment for our staff as we continue to grow the business.’
