The Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) Wealth Management subsidiary has announced that it will be upgrading its current London office space with a relocation.
Currently based in offices located at 71 and 77 Queen Victoria Street, the company will now make the move to a new office at Riverbank House, Swan Lane – which is said to be nearer to the Royal Bank of Canada’s main headquarters.
RBC’s Wealth Management are said to be planning for growth with the creation of 70 new jobs.
Head of RBC’s Wealth Management UK arm, Mike Moodie, commented on the move.
He said: “This new office space is proof of our ambitions and reflects RBC’s focus on further establishing the UK as the third ‘home’ of our two global businesses, RBC Wealth Management and RBC Capital Markets.
“We see tremendous opportunities to grow our wealth management business in the UK, focusing on clients based in London and the South East. Riverbank House offers outstanding facilities which I know will be enjoyed by employees, clients and alike.”
