Manufacturer of a number of popular products, especially sugar, Tate & Lyle has announced a deal that will see the firm lease new London office space.
The company has agreed a 15-year lease for the top two floors located at the One Kingsway building – situated in London’s newly dubbed Midtown district.
The space leased by Tate & Lyle measures around 34, 780 sq ft and has been let at a rate of Â£67.50 per sq ft.
One Kingsway is located on a corner inbetween Kingsway and Alwych; originally constructed in the 1920’s, the building has seen major reconstruction work – with just the front being retained as the rest of the property was rebuilt.
Notably the building has also achieved a BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) rating of ‘excellent’.
Offering a mix of retail, office and residential space, One Kingsway currently has just one other occupier – the Delaunay Restaurant that occupies both the ground and basement levels of the building.
