Land Securities has confirmed that it has let 18,000 square feet of office space development at Dashwood House on Old Broad Street, London.
The tenant is international law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, the oldest continuously-operated law firm in the United States. The firm will be occupying the 14th and 15th floors of the building on a ten-year lease at a rate of around £45 per square foot.
Earlier this year Land Securities completed a major new refurbishment of the development which increased available space by over 40,000 square feet. In April, they secured their first tenants, forensic accountancy firm RGL Forensics, which took almost 9,000 square feet, also on a ten-year term.
Dashwood House was originally completed in 1976. Its renovation in 2007 and 2008 added an additional four floors to its height and completely changed the façade to give it a clean and modern appearance.
