American advertising company The Martin Agency has established its first office outside of the US, with London offices in Belgravia.
The new office will initially help the agency manage the accounts of Manpower Group and Education First – both of whom have significant interests in the UK. It’ll also help the company to increase its presence worldwide.
Located at 3 Grosvenor Gardens, the 820 sq ft office will initially accommodate 20 members of staff. It’ll officially open later this month (June).
The announcement was officially made at its Richmond, Virginia headquarters last week, and CEO, Matt Williams, stated that The Martin Agency had considered opening a London office for a while.
He said: “We were waiting for the right time and the right opportunity,” adding: “We have it now, and it is important we jump on it.”
Chairman, John B. Adams, said that the interest expressed by the company’s staff in working in London was one of the additional motivations for opening the building.
“That was one motivation for the decision to open the office,” continuing “to give our staff the opportunity to work in a global environment.”
He also revealed that the company would consider opening more offices around the world should they suit the needs of its clients.
