The Shard has signed three new leases, making the London office space provider now 75% let or under offer.
It’s latest tenant comes in the form of software company Sage, who are to take up 9,574 sq. ft of office space on floor 17. The newest letting will be adding to their existing portfolio of offices spanning 24 countries, which accommodates for their 14,000 staff.
Previous occupants of floor 17, private equity group Foresight Group, are to double their office space by moving up to floor 23.
Real Estate Management Services Group, who manage the building for Irvine Stellar and the State of Qatar, have also announced a deal with law firm Greenberg Traurig Maher. GTM will be adding just under 20,000 sq. ft of office space from the 8th floor of the Shard to their existing 37 offices around the globe.
Shard developer, Irvine Sellar, said of the deal, “We are delighted that GTM will be relocating its London operations to The Shard, and that one of the UK’s largest software companies has selected The Shard for its London base.”
Currently home to 22 companies including Warwick Business School and TV Broadcaster Al Jazeera, the latest tenancy agreements leave only a quarter of the shard left for letting.
