Web turns offices green


A new website has launched which helps businesses and offices become more eco- friendly.

OneWorldEnergy claims to offer a one-stop-shop designed to make being green simple.

Managing director Rudi Schogger, said confusion and lack of time were no longer viable excuses to ignore green issues.

"We have simplified the minefield of information and brought together the best green energy products and services," he said.

The company will launch green energy showrooms to allow customers to look at its products and get one-to-one advice.

"By making being green simple, consumers will find it easier to embrace a greener life," it has claimed.

The government recently announced an open invite to nuclear companies to bid for the construction of the UK’s future power stations –a move which has frustrated people yet to be convinced of its safety.

Designers and architects are starting to incorporate renewable materials and micropower technologies into their plans for office space.
